Operational Cash Management Specialist’s goal is to support Grünenthal Corporate Hub in the team’s and business development. This can be achieved by monitoring the organization and clients’ profitability, assessing the risks and improvements, providing knowledge and development ideas.

 

What the job looks like:

  • Execute daily banking activities, which includes transactions in the AR for customers, in the AP for payments and in the GL for all the rest
  • Ability to reconcile, maintain and clear accounts, managing cash effectively
  • Process invoices and credit notes
  • Responsible for the monitoring and reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Monitor dunning and collections management considering local requirements
  • Knowledge in the collections process (is a plus)
  • Resolve customers/vendors payment related queries
  • Support month-end and closing processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ability to autonomously identify, analyze and solve issues
  • Specialized proficiency in the end-to-end OCM processes
  • Interact with respective Business Partners and/or with the relevant operating units (e.g. for clarification of complex accounting issues)
  • Provide knowledge by developing and implementing operational projects
  • Ensure internal controls and best practices are followed
  • Proficiency in the customer service/care
  • Continuous development (technical knowledge and soft skills) through a Personal Development Plan

 

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Accounting or Finance degree (or in other related fields)
  • Professional Experience in relevant areas with 2/3 years (Corporate Hub industry is a plus)
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SAP FI
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic mindset
  • Team player, quality and service-oriented
  • Strong analytical and negotiating skills
  • Willing to learn, collaborate and to develop new skills
  • Highly motivated and flexible
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish (mandatory), additional European languages are a plus
