Please include your CV and a cover letter, as well as copies of relevant certificates for training courses or qualifications. And if you’ve got any letters of recommendation, we’d be excited to read them.
What should be included in my cover letter?
Tell us what motivated you to apply for this position – and why you want to join our company. Then explain why you’re the right person for the job, and please also let us know when you’d be able to start work and what your salary expectations are. The text should be no more than one page long.
What should be included in my CV?
First up, we’ll need basic information like your address, phone number and email address. You should then list your relevant placements and work experience, followed by your training and qualifications. And we’d also like to know what you do in your free time and if you’re involved in any social engagement activities.
When can I expect feedback on my application?
We’ll let you know how your application is progressing as soon as we can. However, sometimes the selection and decision process can take time, even after the interview.
Who’s involved in the recruitment process?
Once you’ve applied through our Jobs Portal, the hiring manager or a member of our HR team will review your application. If your profile fits well to the requirements of the open position, you’ll have a brief first interview with your potential new manager. In a second interview, you’ll have the opportunity to meet potential colleagues in addition to the hiring manager and the HR representative – this usually takes up to half a day. For some positions, you might be asked to prepare a presentation in advance or to complete tasks related to relevant case studies.
Is the position I’m applying for still available?
As long as the role is still visible, the recruiting process is ongoing and applications are welcome.
Which language should I write my application in?
Please apply in the same language that the job post is written in.
What can I expect in the interview and how can I prepare myself?
We’ll give you the chance to showcase why you’re the best fit for the job and for our company. You’ll also have the opportunity to get to know Grünenthal and your potential future line manager and colleagues, which will help you to decide if the job would meet your expectations for further professional development. Please make sure you prepare a few questions to ask us. Dress comfortably in something smart – and be yourself!
