Recruitment Fraud Advisory

We recently have detected recruitment fraud activities, especially targeted to job seekers in the US. These include requests for personal information such as bank account and credit card information by individuals who pretend to be recruiting on behalf of Grünenthal or any of its affiliates.

Please note that we do not conduct job interviews via instant messaging applications like Telegram or Signal. We will also never ask you for bank details, advance payments, deposits, or for you to purchase work equipment at any time.

If you are the target of what you believe to be fraudulent recruiting activity and are asked for financial or security information, please contact local law enforcement and report the incident to careers@grunenthal.com.

What happens after I submit my application?

First, we’ll look at your CV to get a solid impression of your experience and qualifications. If you seem like the kind of person we’re looking for, we’ll have an interview with you  over the phone, via video or face-to-face.

If this conversation goes well, you’ll be invited to meet some more people from our company. This meeting aims to check that you’re a good fit for our company culture – and that our culture is a good fit for you. For some positions, we might also ask you to complete a small task based on a case study, so we can get a better idea of how you work.

This selection process gives us the opportunity to evaluate your technical qualifications and get to know you as a person. And it will also give you a chance to meet future colleagues, find out more about the job, and familiarise yourself with our company and our vision and values.

Who will be interviewing me?

You can generally expect to speak to one of our HR managers and your future manager.

How long does an interview last?

The first interview usually takes about 1.5 hours. For the second interview, we really want to make sure we have enough time to get to know each other – so you should plan about half a day. Of course, we’ll tell you more about the exact schedule well in advance.
