Working with Cobots
For example, we’re running pilot projects in areas including data capture, advanced analytics and assembly line robotics – among many others. Known as Cobots, these assembly line robots were designed to make our operations more resilient and cost-effective by automating repetitive manual tasks in the assembly line. The Cobots free up our teams to focus on more demanding tasks, and make sure patients receive our medicines quickly and in line with the very highest quality standards.
Using best-in-class technology
We are fully utilising digital technologies to support our interactions with healthcare professionals. This enables us to provide them with the information they need, when and how they want to receive it. To achieve this strategic objective, we launched a project to equip our Commercial teams around the world with a best-in-class technology platform that enables them to interact with customers anywhere and at any time.
Increasing transparency with our global BI Portal
Our global Business Intelligence Portal has equipped our teams around the world with a powerful platform where users can obtain and share business information across functions and countries within the company. The Global BI Portal aspires to be a single point of reference in Grünenthal, by increasing transparency for the information and analyses required by different organisations and supporting decision-making processes.
Addressing unmet needs in pain using data and analytics
From understanding biology and medicinal chemistry to planning and analyzing clinical trials – our scientists make data driven decisions to create better solutions for patients’ unmet needs. Therefore we are driving initiatives to systematically collect and connect information across our R&D pipeline and combine it with computational approaches and machine learning. This way, we contribute to creating the best possible basis for informed decision making.
Keeping colleagues connected
We are embracing the power of digital technologies to keep our teams connected – even during the Covid-19 pandemic. This includes providing access to collaboration platforms, as well as embracing modern communication formats to support events like our virtual townhall meetings.
