Our team in Italy is based in a beautiful and unusual building that has been described as an inspirational feat of modern architecture. Known as the ‘horizontal skyscraper’, it is a raised structure that is 12 metres above the ground. The building is made of glass and surrounded by pedestrianised green areas, so you’ll always feel close to nature. And it’s just a 10-minute walk from our office to the fast-paced, vibrant city of Milan.

An impressive range of facilities are available to employees at this site, including a lively canteen, a picturesque terrace and a free drinks service. It also features a pool bike – an exercise bike that is submerged in a pool to give muscles more of a challenge and make exercise more exciting. And our team also has access to a park with an outdoor gym, soccer field and children’s playground.

Manufacturing Site

Although our office building has a striking, modern appearance, it actually has 50 years of history. The building combines modern spaces with vintage architectural features spread across 50,000 square metres, and provides indoor and outdoor spaces for the more than 350 employees to enjoy their work – and their breaks.

Our manufacturing site in Italy focuses on producing solid pharmaceutical forms for oral administration, as well as small volume liquids and biopharma packaging. It also provides pharmaceutical development and lab services.

The location is within a commercial and industrial hub that is home to several chemical and pharmaceutical plants. In addition, it’s also a key location for logistics and national communication routes. And it’s just 30 minutes away from Milan by car, so the team is well-connected to the vibrant fashion capital.
