What the job looks like

 

Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as: 

 

  • Support initiatives aimed at optimizing calibration and metrology processes across the site. 
  • Consolidate instrument information from different equipment into a comprehensive master instrument list. 
  • Create and maintain equipment history records for calibration and metrology instruments. 
  • Review and challenge manufacturer specifications, operating ranges, and calibration intervals to identify improvement opportunities. 
  • Evaluate calibration methods and contribute to process optimization initiatives. 
  • Support the creation and integration of instruments in SAP, ensuring they are properly linked to the corresponding equipment. 
  • Assist in updating procedures and technical documentation related to calibration and metrology activities. 
  • Identify applicable regulatory and technical standards for calibration processes.
  • Review calibration plans and propose enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency. 
  • Prepare and present project updates and findings to the team and Site Leadership Team (SLT). 

 

What you’ll bring to the table 

 

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have: 

 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering (6th to 8th semester).
  • Strong interest in metrology, calibration systems, maintenance, and industrial processes.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Results-oriented and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • English is considered a plus.
  • No previous work experience required.
