Then our Commercial team is the right place for you: whether you’re passionate about Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Excellence or Sales. We analyse the market to find out exactly what patients need, and then we provide pain treatments that improve their lives – while creating value for Grünenthal. We strive to make progress towards our vision of a world free of pain – every single day, one patient at a time. We’d love you to help us make a powerful impact on the lives of people living with pain around the globe.

As the Global HEOR Lead, you will shape and execute high-quality Health Economics and Outcomes Research strategies and projects that drive and enable successful reimbursement, patient access and the commercialisation of both pipeline and in-market assets.

What the job looks like

Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Developing integrated evidence strategies including Real-World Evidence and economic modelling to meet payer and country needs
  • Partnering with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Asset Teams and R&D Project Teams to embed payer-relevant endpoints and patient-reported outcomes into clinical development programmes
  • Co-leading evidence-generation projects and communicating results through publications, conference presentations and other relevant channels
  • Driving early payer engagement and supporting successful Health Technology Assessment submissions, including AMNOG, NICE and JCA
  • Leading the development of economic models, value materials and innovative tools that support launch preparation, payer negotiations and local market access
  • Integrating country requirements into global strategies to enable successful commercialisation at affiliate level
  • Building strong relationships with external health economic experts, clinical opinion leaders, policymakers, organisations and industry peers
  • Strengthening HEOR capabilities and supporting the development of a broader Market Access advisory network across the organisation

What you’ll bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • An advanced university degree, at Master’s level or above, in economics, pharmaceuticals, public health or a related discipline
  • Approximately 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in HEOR and Real-World Evidence
  • A strong track record in developing and publishing economic models and real-world evidence for market access purposes
  • Experience leading early payer engagement and successful HTA submissions that achieved meaningful value recognition
  • Experience managing complex projects within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Experience within speciality medicine
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to connect local competitive considerations with global and international priorities
  • Confidence navigating ambiguity, uncertainty and complexity in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and innovative approach to evidence generation, economic modelling, pricing and market access
  • Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, communication and presentation skills
