What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Define the strategic setup and implementation of the Compliance Program for UK/Ireland in line with the Corporate guidance for the commercial affiliate
- Represent Compliance in the local leadership team
- Roll out and update the local implementation of our Responsibility Program
- Maintain and support the local Data Privacy Program in the UK and Ireland
- Setup processes to control and monitor that Grünenthal's activities are in line with regulations and pharmaceutical codes incl. establishment of adequate internal controls for identified risks
- Plan and supervise the implementation of local trainings for Compliance
- Provide regular updates on non-financial metrics to Global Compliance
- Manage potential non-compliance incidents incl. internal investigations
- Provide day-to-day data privacy support for Business initiatives
- Coordinate with external counsel as necessary
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- A Degree in Law
- At least 2 years of experience as a lawyer or Inhouse counsel, preferably within the life science industry
- At least 2 years of experience as a Compliance professional within the pharmaceutical industry with specific knowledge in codes of conduct of UK and Ireland
- Deep knowledge of Data Privacy regulations in the EU and related practical experience
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
- Computer skills, esp. MS Office (user knowledge)
- Knowledge of the relevant pharmaceutical market in UK/Ireland
- Organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
