What the job looks like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Provides deep technical expertise in granulation, blending, compression, coating, and process validation, supporting manufacturing performance, technology transfers, troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introductions, process transfers, and manufacturing scale-up activities.
- Lead complex manufacturing investigations and root cause analyses.
- Translate process science and technology into commercial high scale production considering its requirements, constraints and implications
- Serve as the technical authority for all manufacturing processes across the network focused on oral solids with extension to other production forms
- Harmonize manufacturing process, enhance process technically, implement best practices in the network, supporting GMP activities and delivering technical trainings.
- Guarantee implementation of GMP rules and regulatory requirements across the network.
- Review and contribute to: Process validation documentation. Change controls, Deviations, CAPAs, Risk assessments
What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- 10–15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, process engineering, or technical manufacturing.
- An academic background in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
- Hands‑on expertise across multiple dosage forms and technologies, expert in oral solids / bulk manufacturing
- Demonstrated capability in process industrialization, scale‑up, validation, and commercial manufacturing.
- Extensive experience leading technology transfers between development, sending sites, and receiving sites.
- Proven skill in material flow analysis, process mapping, and troubleshooting transfer‑related challenges.
- Experience driving global process harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement.
- Seasoned experience with Operational Excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Strong GMP and regulatory knowledge.
