What the job looks like 
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Plan, organize, and promote proactive measures to prevent workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental damage.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across safety, health, and environmental domains.
  • Implement and monitor systems for identifying occupational hazards and environmental risks.
  • Review and maintain documentation for the EHS Management System within established timelines.
  • Deliver targeted training across all organizational levels on safety, occupational health, and environmental topics.
  • Maintain accurate statistics on workplace incidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental events.
  • Ensure strict adherence to ALCOA+ principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and GxP standards.
  • Report any deviations from legal or internal requirements through the quality system.
  • Manage and promote EHS activities within your area of responsibility.

 

What you’ll bring to the table 
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • A degree in Risk Prevention Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS roles within manufacturing industries.
  • Certification in Integrated Management Systems, ISO, or OSHA auditing.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Advanced Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
