In the Regional BD&L Insights & Analytics Manager role, you will provide the analytical backbone for Business Development & Licensing decisions in LATAM. From market and competitor analyses to valuation and business case development, your work will directly influence which external opportunities Grünenthal pursues and how we grow our portfolio through partnerships. What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Identify and execute new commercial business development initiatives aligned with the regional strategy.
- Lead complex, end‑to‑end strategic projects with high impact across the LatAm organization.
- Assess in‑licensing, co‑promotion, and alternative BD models in line with regional priorities.
- Conduct market research and competitive analyses to support opportunity evaluation.
- Collaborate with local and regional functions (Commercial, Finance, Medical, Regulatory) to validate key business inputs.
- Build end‑to‑end business cases, integrating market insights, forecasts, pricing, and risk assessments.
- Prepare high‑quality business cases and recommendations for regional and global governance forums.
- Generate market analytics, consolidate forecasts, and develop data‑driven models for decision‑making.
- Manage external data sources (e.g., IQVIA, CloseUp) and analyze market trends and competitive dynamics.
- Support due diligence and governance processes by coordinating analyses and facilitating information flow across local, regional, and global teams.
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Preferred: MBA or additional training in data analytics or strategy
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial and project management, specifically across pharma, OTC, consultancy or FMCG.
- Previous experience in market analysis, finance, commercial excellence, or commercial operations.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and analytical tools.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.

Strong written and verbal English skills
