What the job looks like
Each day, you'll enjoy a variety of challenges such as:
- As a Shift Coordinator you will be responsible for organising and supervising all production phases, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and maintaining high levels of productivity, quality, and hygiene
- Coordinate and train a diverse team of operators per shift, promoting engagement and adherence to safety and quality standards
- You will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment, through OPEX methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) and performance monitoring: i.e. you will track key performance indicators such as OEE and lead initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime
- Organise and coordinate production activities, including accurate completion of batch records, in line with GMP requirements
- Provide technical and operational support for machine and automated system parameter adjustments, in-process product control, batch and format changes, and equipment cleaning
- Compile all processing documentation and ensure accurate data collection for reporting and analysis
- You will collaborate in cross-functional teams, working closely with Planning, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance departments to ensure seamless operations
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- University degree in Chemistry, CTF, Pharmacy, Biotechnologies or related fields
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and manufacturing processes in pharma, food or nutraceutical industries
- Fluency both in Italian and English
- Open to work on 3 shifts
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Lean mindset: familiarity with Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
