What the role will look like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams, representing key internal areas relevant to the project, and collaborating with partners where appropriate
- Creating and maintaining transfer and integration plans for individual Projects
- Defining short- and long-term objectives, KPIs, and deliverables for the project
- Managing the execution of the agreed integration plan and medium-to-high complex projects, tracking milestones, and ensuring proper project reporting (objectives, timelines, budget, resources, and status updates)
- Understanding the project budget and preparing timely budget plans, including annual budgets and forecasts
- Maintaining and updating the business case as needed
- Ensuring that all decision-relevant deliverables are available on time and meet quality standards to support the decision-making process (e.g., project plans, risks, opportunities, business case assumptions, contract terms, etc.)
What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- At least 3+ years of project management experience, with a strong expertise in planning and executing cross-functional projects
- University degree in scientific disciplines (CTF, Chemistry, Biotechnologies or comparable degree) or Engineering
- 3+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in areas such as formulation development, manufacturing, or quality control of drug products, with strong GMP Knowledge
- The ability to understand complex processes and translate them clearly for stakeholders
- Strong emotional intelligence to navigate challenges, foster a positive work environment, and improve overall project effectiveness through resilience
- Strong documentation, planning, and budget tracking skills in line with the PMTO framework, business acumen
- Flexibility to work on-site during certain project phases (at sending or receiving sites)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to actively understand others' objectives, perspectives, interests, and beliefs
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Italian
