What the job looks like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety  of challenges, such as:

• Being responsible for the worldwide delivery of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, samples, standards and other goods which are manufactured and procured within the organization, while ensuring compliant foreign trade process in accordance with the customer needs to deliver the requested quantity in the right quality to the desired arrival date.
• Entering orders coming from the customers into the SAP-System (SD module).
• Monitoring of incoming intercompany purchase orders, Tracking of planned production dates to issue the order confirmation to the customer Narcotic handling of customer and purchase orders in case of import- and export licences with 4-eyes principle.
• Continuous adjustment of confirmed delivery dates according to the capacity planning
• Daily Sales monitoring and backlog prioritization.
• Monitoring of goods receipt from production and quality release (demand batch documentation).
• Consolidation of orders and detailed delivery planning for an optimized transportation together with the warehouse team.
• Booking of transportation (air, sea and road).
• Creation of delivery in SAP – work order for the warehouse, Creation of final invoice with specific conditions in SAP, Creation of delivery relevant export documents (country specific), Creation of Export Declaration in ATLAS (for NON-EU countries).
• Informing the customer about estimated arrival of the consignment - Main contact person to the customer for the order processing under Customer Service perspective.
• Order processing of “other goods” coming from R&D, QC etc.
• Additional Responsibilities: Master data work - Creation of new/adaptation of existing customers and customer-material info records, BPM for SAP roles, BPE for SD module in SAP – testing, solution handling, rollout support, documentation, Acting as Foreign Trade Agent to process export control checks, determine preferential origin status, attend customs audits and support operational set-up of agreed new supply chains. 

What you'll bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

• Successfully qualified commercial education with  more than 3 years professional experience;
• Experience in the field of order management, export business, foreign trade and customer service;
• Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP);
• Fluent in English and preferably one further European language.
