What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Drive continuous improvement activities;
  • Monitor Grunenthal´s Business system (GOBS) progress and participate in site improvement assessments as well as developing and ensuring follow-through on improvement plans;
  • Work with production & training teams to deliver targeted OPEX training and demonstrate use of Lean/Six Sigma and TPM concepts;
  • Organize events/workshops in the department to drive knowledge transfer and sharing of good manufacturing and best demonstrated practices;
  • Develop presentations to summarize findings and propose recommendations;
  • Support standardization of processes and continuous improvement training materials
  • Lead SMED activities;
  • Lead MFA (material flow analysis).

 

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry or pharmacy)
  • At least 5 years of experience (e.g. Pharma, Cosmetics, Food, etc.);
  • Project Management Experience is a plus;
  • First experiences driving OPEX transformations, Lean & Six Sigma Projects and TPM deployment to improve safety, quality, service, and cost;
  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt certification recommended;
  • 1-2 years of continuous improvement leadership, implementing Lean and Six Sigma or other OPEX transformations;
  • Strong process engineering and data analysis skills;
  • Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint and in the use of mini-tab tools;
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 5% of the time;
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills;
  • Being fluent in English and Italian would finalize your profile.
