What the job looks like

 

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Driving continuous improvement activities, monitoring Grunenthal’s Business System (GOBS) progress, participating in site improvement assessments as well as developing and ensuring follow-through on improvement plans;
  • Working with production & training teams to deliver targeted OPEX training and demonstrate use of Lean/Six Sigma and TPM concepts;
  • Organizing events/workshops in the department to drive knowledge transfer and sharing of good manufacturing and best demonstrated practices;
  • Developing presentations to summarize findings and propose recommendations;
  • Supporting standardization of processes and continuous improvement training materials, driving and facilitating cultural transformation initiatives;
  • Leading SMED activities;
  • Leading MFA (material flow analysis).


What you'll bring to the table

 

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry or pharmacy). Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (e.g. Green Belt or similar methodologies);
  • At least 3 years experienced Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence roles implementing Lean and Six Sigma or other OPEX transformations and improvement projects in production environments, e.g. FMCG, Food & Beverage, Pharma or similar manufacturing industries -  Project Management Experience would be beneficial;
  • Strong process engineering and data analysis skills, experience in OEE measurement and improvement;
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean tools and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED, waste analysis) and TPM frameworks, High capability in Structured Problem Solving (e.g., A3, 8D, root cause analysis);
  • Fluency both in Italian and English: excellent communication & presentation skills, ability to work cross-functionally influencing multiple areas;
  • Change management ability, strategic thinking, strong data analysis skills and evidence-based decision making.
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, advanced Excel, mini-tab tools) and presentation tools (Power Point).

Our pay ranges are based on an objective, gender-neutral job evaluation system. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant education, skills, experience, certifications, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. Your compensation package will include a performance-based annual bonus.
