What the job looks like

 

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

 

  • As Site GOBS Leader, you will be the architect and catalyst of our Global Operations Business System (GOBS) at site level. Reporting directly to the Site Leadership, you will lead the transformation journey, building capabilities, mindset and leadership behaviors that enable sustainable performance and continuous improvement
  • Developing and implementing the Global Operational Excellence Strategy aligned with the company’s vision, acting as Site Pillar Owner and the Site Director’s trusted right‑hand business partner, with strong strategic visibility and impact
  • Define and executing the roadmap to excellence, governance and priorities together with Site Leadership Team, driving continuous improvement activities, leading the process of Losses Intelligence and generating the pipeline of saving initiatives 
  • Lead a team of OPEX specialists, shaping the next generation of leaders
  • Build a strong OPEX capability pipeline, coaching leaders in servant leadership and GOBS methodologies, while nurturing critical roles with increase GOBS competencies based
  • Drive breakthrough initiatives that deliver measurable performance improvement such as TPM and GOBS maturity level of the site, dashboard KPIs improvement year on year,
  • Spread best practices globally and bring external benchmarks into the organization
  • Lead key GOBS foundations such as maturity assessments, strategic deployment, knowledge management, and the GOBS Academy

 

What you’ll bring to the table

 

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

 

  • A proven Operational Excellence leader with experience in manufacturing environments (pharma/FMCG preferred)
  • Strong background in Lean / TPM / Six Sigma and transformation programs 
  • A natural coach and influencer, able to engage leaders across functions and levels with an authentic continuous improvement mindset
  • Strategic, curious and business‑driven, with a passion for developing people
  • Fluent in Business English and Italian is mandatory, an additional European language would be beneficial, and comfortable in an international environment

 

You will operate at the heart of site strategy, partnering with senior leadership while engaging daily with a global network.
