What the job looks like 

Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Evaluating the efficiency of the plant and the production lines for the safety, environmental aspects, implementing action plans (including general and specific risks evaluation) and updating the measures taken in the field of safety, health and environment;
  • Taking care of staff training plans in the field of Environment, Health, Safety and follows its evolution taking place in the first courses in the role of trainer;
  • Collaborating on compliance with legal obligations, operational procedures, Grünenthal standards, regarding safety, hygiene and environmental protection within their area of expertise, ensuring the correct operation of the Safety and Environmental Management System certified according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001;
  • Performing internal EHS audit according global and local plans;
  • Performing industrial hygiene sampling according local plans;
    Performing incident investigation, reporting and action plan development.

What you’ll bring to the table 
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Master Degree in engineering or scientific disciplines (Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry);
  • Requirements for the ASPP role according to Legislative Decree no. 81/08;
  • At least 3 years of experience in safety, environment and energy saving rules and regulations at manufacturing companies (Pharma manufacturing and maintenance technical competence would be a plus);
  • Fluent both in Italian and English;
  • Honesty, result driven showing proactivity in finding new solutions, caring and communicative with cross-functional and global colleagues.
