What the job looks like:

          Perform security monitoring for:

  •    attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity;
  •    identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorized system users;
  •    'phising' emails and 'pharming' activity
  •    Investigate security alerts, prioritize issues and provide incident response
  •     Perform threat investigation, isolation and response     
  •    Use advanced analytic tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities
  •    Perform maintenance tasks in CDC team toolset.
  •    Customize reports and dashboards
  •    Give advice and guidance to end-users on security-related issues such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails.
  •     Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments

 

          Assist Senior Security Analysts in:

  •     Event-driven targeted threat hunting and reconnaissance;
  •    IOC extraction and analysis;
  •    Continuous threat detection rules review;
  •    Playbook optimization and enhancement;
  •    Researching/evaluation of emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them;
  •    Producing reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders.

 

What you´ll bring to the table:

  •     Experience in information security or related field (ideally with relevant certifications);
  •     Bachelor degree in (business) computer science, engineering or comparable;
  •    1+ years working experience on SOC team or MSSP;
  •    Fit to work in a high-performance environment within a team with a highly visible, responsive, and effective service;
  •    Fluent in English;
  •     Understanding of operating systems, networking fundamentals, firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and AAA concepts;
  •    Scripting (Powershell, Pyhton) and KQL queries;
  •    Ideally has experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender Suite (e.g., Defender ATP) and also with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
