What the job looks like:

  • Prepare EU VAT Returns, EC Sales Lists and supporting working files and other documentation; 
  • Reconciles various indirect tax accounts within the general ledger;
  • Ensure accuracy of ERP (SAP) data: Perform controls to detect inaccuracies, liaise with accounts payable, accounts receivable and other teams to review individual transactions and make necessary corrections, if applicable;
  • Compliance of invoices: Analyze invoices to ensure compliance with local tax law (minimum requirements) and proper tax treatment – request corrections if necessary;
  • Takes on project responsibility – demonstrates the ability to join and participate in a multi-disciplinary team for executing a project;
  • Demonstrates the ability to handle indirect tax research questions and able to communicate a research findings effectively and provide recommendations based on the research done.


What you'll bring to the table:

  • Degree in Finance/ Accounting / Economics/ Law or similar regarding tax or accounting / Master or Specialization in Tax or Data Analyst would be a plus;
  • Professional Experience from 2 years in a finance business area (inhouse tax experience in a Corporate Hub is a plus);
  • Fluent English (verbal and written);
  • Proficiency of MS Office (specially Excel);
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus;
  • Fluent Spanish (verbal and written) is a plus;
  • Knowledge of VAT Determination within ERP systems (SAP/S/4 HANA is a plus);
  • Result driven & value adding;
  • Strong team player; 
  • Very high degree of “curiosity”;
  • Pro-active attitude;
  • Ability to work with different teams from differnt locations in the world, in a fast changing environment;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills;
  • Analytical and problem solving mindset.
