What the job looks like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Develop, review, create and maintain scientific material for key products  (Product Monograph, Slide Kits, etc).
  • Manage clinical projects: IIT, local NIT/ PMS, Phase III b and IV studies, RWE.
  • Responsible for the content of medical information (responses) and having an overview about all medical information related issues to a specific product.
  • Accountable for scientific/medical contents of congresses, symposia, Advisory Boards, investigator meetings and alignment with the local strategy.
  • Planned, strategically aligned, non-promotional engagement with key stakeholders in two-way scientific exchanges.
  • Increase stakeholder knowledge and understanding of therapies for the right patients optimizing patient care.
  • Collaborate and support the Compliance Department (management and review of HCI processes).
  • Collaborate and support the Market access Department (support price and reimbursement processes).
  • Collaborate with the Documentation Department in the preparation of product dossiers and bibliographic searches.
  • Support the sales forces with a focus on furthering scientific knowledge.
  • Develop and coordinate publication plans (peer-reviewed publications, abstracts, posters), as well as developing of publications and studies.
  • Viewed as a trusted scientific partner at eye level by key stakeholders and internally (KEEs, pharmacists, nurses, payers, patients, patient organizations and policymakers).


What you'll bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Education in Health Care (MD, Pharmacist, Biologist)
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry/competitive environment and of Portuguese Healthcare System.
  • Medical-scientific Communication knowledge incl. Presentation and training skills.
  • Basic understanding of Marketing/Market Access/ Regulatory requirements and procedures.
  • Fluent English language domain.
  • Ability to frequently travel.
  • Understanding of the local and national health ecosystem, data generation regulations and RWD/RWE/HEOR.
  • Strong Compliance ethics, in line with Code and Regulation framework for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
