What the job looks like:
The IT Process Owner for Performance Management continuously raises the bar of IT performance via actions derived from data driven insight. The responsibilities will involve collecting, processing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage activities to drive continuous improvement.
- Define and document the IT performance management processes, roles, and responsibilities, and ensure that they are aligned with the business requirements and the IT strategy.
- Establish and maintain the process governance, with policy, objectives, metrics and controls, and continuously maintain and improve process performance in support of the business and IT needs.
- Manage and enable all process stakeholders, including business partners, product owners, service owners, business stakeholders and practitioners..
- Ensure that the IT process risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated, and that the IT process compliance is verified and audited.
- Provide the IT process training, guidance, and support to the IT staff and the business users and drive effective alignment between all IT towers.
- Set budgets, baselines, actual/variance analysis around cost for projects and services, manage allocations
- Develop and own processes to govern cost for consumption driven cloud services (FinOps)
- Own and develop dashboards, scorecards, activity trackers, automation, and analytics to support the process
What you'll bring to the table:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or related.
- A minimum of five years of experience in enterprise controlling, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- A solid knowledge of IT service management best practices, standards, and frameworks.
- Understands the needs and expectations of internal and external customers
- Works effectively with others across the organization and builds trust and rapport with them
- Takes ownership and responsibility for the quality and efficiency of the process
- Adapts to changing business and IT environments and embraces new opportunities
- Fosters a culture of learning and continuous improvement
- Helps align the IT demand/project portfolio with the business strategy and optimizes the cost / value
