What the job looks like:

• Ensure compliance with local and global policies related to the procurement  process;
• Execute the procurement part within “purchase to pay” (P2P) process and create POs based on PRs with focus on efficient ordering methods, on time processing and accurate information;
• Provide procurement support to assigned countries, focusing on operational transactional procurement activities for Commercial and Indirect related topics;  
• Support stakeholders with purchases follow up process in case of delays and problems as first escalation level;
• Build and maintain close relationship with the respective stakeholders and support Global Category Managers and Global Sourcing Teams;
• Ensure close relation and interaction with the Global Procurement Organization and the Corporate Hub teams in the Downstream part of the P2P process.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Relevant practical experience with at least 1 year in a comparable role in a state-of-the-art procurement organization;
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM regarding different order types, order automation, master data and info record creation, inventory management;  
• Proven track record regarding supplier qualification and administration;
• General understanding of supply markets in typical spend areas of local business units (indirect / marketing);
• Optional: Experience in cross-functional projects;
• Advance level of German (mandatory);
• SAP-MM experience;
• Good analytical skills;
• Good communication skills.
