What the job looks like:
The Application Manager is responsible for consulting, developing, and implementing IT applications that meet the business needs and align with the IT strategy and architecture. The Application Manager works closely with the business stakeholders, IT consultants, developers, and testers to ensure that the IT solutions are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage the configuration, administration, and maintenance of the Artwork management platform.
- Define and document the IT solution architecture for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with the IT standards, policies, and principles.
- Collaborate with the business stakeholders, IT Consultants, developers, and testers to understand the business requirements, identify the best IT solutions, and provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage system updates, enhancements, and integrations with other business applications (ERP, CRM, etc.).
- Manage incidents, change requests, and service improvements following ITIL principles.
- Manage and mitigate IT application risks and issues and escalate them as appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the IT application practice, processes, and standards.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing enterprise applications, Artwork management platforms and QMS software
- Knowledge of Quality Management and Artwork management processes
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, manage incidents, and implement system improvements.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL is a plus)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Creative, innovative, and adaptable, with the ability to design and develop IT solutions using various technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaborative, cooperative, and team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
- Continuous learner keeping abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Fluent in English (Spanish or German nice to have)
