We are looking for an experienced Application Manager to oversee and manage our MasterControl platform. This person will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting business needs.
What the job looks like:
- Manage the configuration, administration, and maintenance of the MasterControl platform;
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the application;
- Provide technical support to end-users and key stakeholders;
- Work closely with IT, Quality, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance;
- Manage system updates, enhancements, and integrations with other business applications (ERP, CRM, etc.);
- Develop and maintain user access controls, permissions, and security policies;
- Monitor system performance, conduct troubleshooting, and coordinate with MasterControl support when necessary;
- Manage the 3rd party supplier that is providing support to the tool;
- Manage incidents, change requests, and service improvements following ITIL principles.
What you'll bring to the table:
- 2+ years of experience managing enterprise applications, preferably MasterControl or similar QMS software;
- Knowledge of Quality Management processes (QMS, CAPA, Change Control, Document Control, Training, Audit Management);
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, manage incidents, and implement system improvements;
- Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical teams;
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently;
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, ITIL is a plus);
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and to collaborate with end-users and Service Owners;
- The ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop and implement effective solutions;
- A good understanding of the business and its goals, and the ability to align IT services with business needs;
- A focus on delivering high-quality IT services that meet the needs of internal and external customers;
- The ability to adapt to changing business and technology environments, and to continuously improve IT services;
- Languages: Fluent in English (Spanish or German nice to have).
