What the job looks like:

  • Application Maintenance and Development: You collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders (3rd party suppliers) to ensure that applications are designed and developed to meet the organization’s requirements. Escalation of incidents to 3rd party suppliers. User Management (create, change and delete). User periodical review. Unlock and reset of e-signature passwords. System Monitoring (error messages). Small configuration changes requested by the Business Process Experts. Overview of application interfaces;
  • Service Management: Run periodical service management meetings with Master Control Technical Account manager in order to promote the continuous improvement of the system and support processes;
  • Knowledge Management: You will be responsible to document the incident resolution so that that content can be reused in subsequent events. You will train the trainer (Key-users/Business Process Experts);
  • Reporting and Communication: As a vital player in the organization’s IT department, you report on technical progress to the service owner, end-users, and other stakeholders;
  • The Application Manager’s role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and effective operations within an organization. They contribute to the success of the organization by ensuring software applications run optimally and securely;
  • KPIs: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) can be used to measure the success. Incident and Service Request Resolution times. Customer Satisfaction
    rate;
  • Operational Excellence: Ensuring that the IT service is delivered with high levels of operational excellence, including aspects such as service transition,
    operating model, and service reporting;
  • Business Experience: Delivering incidents, service requests and, changes on time, scope, cost and, quality achieving stakeholder satisfaction.

 

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field;
  • Understanding of software development life cycles is essential;
  • Master Control software knowledge as end-users or admin is seen as a plus;
  • Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, incident, service request, change management, lifecycle management and corresponding  supporting systems such as iVanti, Service Now or similar. Previous experience as helpdesk agent is seen as a plus;
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and to collaborate with endusers and Service Owners;
  • Problem-solving: The ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop and implement effective solutions; 
  • Business acumen: A good understanding of the business and its goals, and the ability to align IT services with business needs;
  • Customer focus: A focus on delivering high-quality IT services that meet the needs of internal and external customers; 
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing business and technology environments, and to continuously improve IT services; 
  • Languages: Fluent in English (Spanish and German nice to have).
