Strategic Responsibilities
- Support Partner Business' Area Managers in the execution of projects of geographical expansion and change of partners in existing businesses within Grünenthal and other strategic joint ventures
- Oversee the initial stages of the pre-launching activities for new brands/territories, by coordinating the internal functions to support the partners in the preparation and execution of the launch
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams
Operational Responsibilities
- Coordinate market research and analysis projects with external consultants and internal stakeholders for new expansion projects
- Screen for potential business partners, analyse and conduct thorough company profiling and propose a list of companies to approach
- Prepare all necessary documentation for Area Managers to interact with selected companies (i.e., product slide decks, CDAs)
- Develop business cases to assess the feasibility and potential value of each out-licensing project, aggregate and compare offers (e.g., NBOs) received
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop and execute out-licensing projects, and ensure all activities are delivered according to the timelines agreed upon
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement in the projects of responsibility
- Coordinate, facilitate, and monitor activities and progress of Grünenthal's pre-launching responsibilities in Partner Business markets (e.g., Registrations, Market Access, Medical and Marketing Trainings to partners), identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address any issues impacting the launch and/or timelines
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- At least 5 years of proven experience in project management within the pharmaceutical industry
- Previous experience with managing out-licensing projects in the pharmaceutical industry
- A PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in launching products in the pharmaceutical industry is desirable
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
- Ability to communicate with internal & external stakeholders on different hierarchical levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time
- Fluency in Business English, German is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a special attention to details
- Good presentation and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
