What the job looks like:

The IT Business Consultant is responsible for analysing, designing, and testing IT solutions that meet the business needs. The role collaborates with business partner/BC, IT architects, developers, and testers to deliver high-quality IT solutions that align with Grünenthal's IT strategy and standards. The IT consultant provides functional support and guidance to end users and IT colleagues on IT systems and processes.

• Collaborate with the business partner organisation and other IT stakeholders to understand, validate and document the business requirements and processes of Grünenthal's functions and regions.
• Analyse and document the current business processes and requirements, identifying any gaps or inefficiencies that need to be addressed by the IT products.
• Design and propose new or improved business processes and solutions that align with the strategic objectives and user needs.
• Communicate and collaborate with the stakeholders and users, ensuring that their feedback and input are incorporated into the IT products.
• Review, coordinate and execute the functional testing and testing of IT solutions, ensuring that they meet the acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Provide feedback and guidance to the IT development and delivery teams, facilitating the agile development process and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Act as project manager / -lead and ensure excellence in project setup and execution​
• Being a Process Consultant to support the BP in workshops to design & model processes according to BPMN standard​
• Provide functional support and training to BPE and IT colleagues on IT systems and processes.
• Manage and resolve functional issues and incidents of IT systems and processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of IT solutions and processes

What you'll bring to the table:

• Master degree in (business) computer science, engineering, Life Science or comparable
• IT professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in complex, international IT enterprise organizations
• Proven experience in project management of large, complex global projects/Program, as well as in process management and improvement
• Proven track record of delivering IT solutions that meet the business needs and expectations.
• Experience in working with various IT technologies, tools, and methodologies.
• Certification in agile frameworks, such as Scrum or SAFe, is a plus.
