What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Develop a strategy and implement a global communication plan for Grünenthal‘s commercial topics
  • Provide counsel to senior management and Brand Team Leads to maximize communications to support business objectives
  • Develop strategic content and maximize impact across internal and external channels
  • Lead communications for the launch of Resiniferatoxin (currently in phase III) including developing launch communications plan, ensuring internal communication alignment, and supporting with patient group engagement
  • Identify and create targeted opportunities to highlight Grünenthal‘s unique leadership in pain
  • Identify key brand milestones and develop communication strategies to maximize opportunities
  • Work closely with and coordinate activities with affiliate communicators to deliver tactics, tools and programs for local use
  • Anticipate, prepare for and manage brand franchise issues with business/reputation impact
  • Act as a business partner for the CCO and as an active member of the Commercial Leadership Team
  • Work collaboratively with the Global Communication team to manage communications across all channels and steer PR agencies
     

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) degree in Communications, Public Relations and/or Business Administration
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic communications and content management
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapt to changing stakeholder needs
  • Proven ability to work across multiple cultures and build networks in a global organization 
  • Experience in developing new drug launch communication programmes 
  • Business fluency in English
  • Excellent written (drafting and editing) and oral communication skills
  • Strong executive presence, proven ability to effectively work with and influence senior management
  • Ability to understand complex information and data and communicate it in simple terms to diverse stakeholders including media, internal and lay audiences
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
