What the job looks like

Responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of global HR strategic initiatives that align with the organisation's overall business objectives and goals. As a member of the HR Leadership Team (HRLT), the role holder will play a critical role in ensuring the HR function is delivering on the People Strategy globally. The role contributes to the evolvement of our cultural journey to maximise employee engagement, foster a high performance culture and passion for development and strengthen Grünenthal as an attractive employer and a great place to work

 

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, key resposibilities include:

 

Lead the development and delivery of strategic initiatives to support our People strategy and Global HR priorities

  • Work with Head of HR and HRLT to identify critical initiatives, building related project plans and implementation roadmaps
  • Lead the development & implementation of key initiatives in collaboration with the HRBPs and HR community 
  • Improve, develop and implement global HR processes, guidelines and tools
  • Define, monitor and communicate key people metrics and insights including the measurement of employee engagement levels through employee/leaders surveys (e.g. GPtW, 360° leaders surveys,…); develop actions plans to address potential gaps and measure impact.
  • Manage and secure buy-in from key stakeholders across the organisation 
  • Lead the ongoing refresh of our People Strategy in partnership with other senior HR leaders ensuring the achievement of strategic and business priorities and future of work agenda

 

Lead the ongoing global People development initiatives and identify further enhancements to drive a learning culture

  • Ensure equitable access to development through consistent engagement in Personal Development discussions and plans in line with our 70-20-10 learning model
  • Monitor employee development metrics, including training programs and budget 
  • Support the development and mapping of capability frameworks, including the identification of critical skills and actions to close the gaps
  • Identify and drive the sharing of best practices to facilitate continuous improvement across geographies and functions
  • Support relationships building and management of vendors when required.

 

Lead the implementation of the Diversity & Engagement strategy & initiatives 

  • Drive the implementation of the Diversity strategy and roadmap initiatives ensuring measurement of progress
  • Build internal DEI capability and provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of DEI.
  • Support the ESG rating process for People

 

Team leadership  

  • Build a high performing team ensuring clarity on vision and priorities with excellence in execution 
  • Coach and develop individual team members supporting PDPs
  • Map capabilities and skills identifying strengths and gaps related to the team’ priorities 
  • Build  and embed data-driven insights for decision making

Key professional experience and education

  • Several years of experience and success as an HR Business Partner
  • Good knowledge of key people processes and practices 
  • Proven track record of successfully driving and implementing global projects
  • Track record of working with diverse stakeholders, incl senior leaders and across cultures 
  • International experience  
  • Fluency in business English
