Strategic Goals :

  • Adapt/Implement the brand value proposition
  • Responsible for the cluster brand plan in line with the Long Term Strategic Plan
  • Derives critical insights that will enable the behavioural change strategy to tailor EB benefits to customer needs
  • Drive the selection of the right investments to maximize brand value in the cluster countries
  • Transversal lead of Content & Tactic Lead at local level and coordinates the cross-functional Brand Team to execute the selected tactics at cluster and countries level to ensure a common goal and customer-relevant focus
  • Derives critical insights that will enable the behavioural change strategy to tailor EB benefits to customer needs
  • Adapt and tailors the master communication strategy and materials to the cluster

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs the development of the cluster and countries brand plan for EB and ensure alignment with the global strategy especially regarding all decisions for EB investment priorities
  • Identifies opportunities for profit maximization and leads cross-business team to deliver on these opportunities using rigorous business case methodology
  • Accountable for EB P&L
  • Manage the Commercial solutions partner for BeNeLux
  • Implement appropriate global brand tactics and develop customer oriented and profitable local tactics
  • Leads cluster brand team and provides recommendations to the Global Asset Team for all choices to maximize profitable growth of EB, and responsible for seeking approval for investments
  • Identifies different customer segments and profiles and tailors communication plan to the differing customer needs
  • Contributes to the Customer Experience (CX) and Customer journey definitions with the Global Team
  • Validates that those are locally relevant and inputs into Global strategies
  • Accountable for EB Product Related Cost (PRC) budget and top line developments of EB including regular review of brand performance & forecasting (strong Initial Business Plan and CPR contributor)
  • Participation in regular business reviews to provide brand view overall and make recommendations for cross-country resource allocation
  • Facilitates best practice sharing among cluster countries and advises on all brand-related aspects to requesting countries
  • Early identification of potential risks for continued success with EB
  • Ensure tight collaboration with field teams, comex, medical, regulatory, compliance, financial teams
  • Defines necessary activities for market research
  • Manages development of EB commercial training program and material for the countries
  • Oversees integration of campaign elements through omnichannel platforms
  • Contributes to CX definition and ways to get it delivered
  • Is the cluster referent for CX lead to implement / co-create deep insights EB projects to understand motivation of customers and how to overcome the “no action benefit”
  • Works with Comex to track customer experience, and identifies areas for further increasing customer satisfaction and meeting needs of customers with EB benefits
  • Define with Comex team, KPI to monitor EB campaigns

  • Experience in leading teams in a matrix organization
  • University degree (Master) in Business or Sciences 
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical industry with commercial & business scope 
  • Experience in mature product and/or generics field 
  • Has successfully managed product loss of exclusivity at global or a local level 
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Strong experience with digital promotion
  • Experience in leading teams in a matrix organization and international setting
  • Fluency in Business English, additional language beneficial

 

This role is based in Belgium with Cluster scope France / BeNeLux
