What the job looks like
Each day you´ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Holding responsibilities to resolve manufacturing issues and communicating the potential impact to key business partners
- Creating and maintaining a constrained master production schedule (MPS) and coordinate with all team members to craft the daily, weekly and even monthly schedules for a production project
- Assist production members with timely responses to simultaneous production issues
- Planning and freezing period management of production activities (Rescheduling, Reworks, Outsourced WIPS)
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determine equipment and resources needed to cover production needs
- Providing asset specific input to the End to End Supply Chain configuration process and ensure planning master data (safety stock, lead times) in the ERP system are up to date
What you´ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Successfully finished an apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk or Bachelor Degree in Business with focus on Supply Chain, Master Degree Preferable and equivalent Supply Chain Certification (APICS/IBF) Desirable
- More than 2 years of work experience in Production Planning / Scheduling, Material and Supply Planning in a Medical/ Pharmaceutical or Consumer industry (FMCG)
- Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems is preferred
- Experience in the field of different analysis and presentation models
- Good communication skills (appropriate for influence and connect with Internal and external Stakeholders)
- Experience to work in a matrix structure and cross-functionally
- Data mining & reporting skills through Planning tools or equivalent
- Strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning
- Ability to share knowledge and personal experience with peers. Coach others when appropriate
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, considering diverse perspectives and styles
- German and English language skills required
