What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Management and/or support of engineering projects for new GMP and non-GMP equipment, from concept study to handover to the user
- Independent processing of the assumed tasks with regard to deadlines, quality and costs
- Support pharmaceutical production in continuous improvement, troubleshooting, optimization and stabilization of equipment and processes
- Close interaction with other internal stakeholders, e.g. procurement, production, controlling and planning in project work and process technical support or technical advice from other departments
- Willingness to support / take over all kinds of additional technical tasks within the Campus Engineering department
What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- At least a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical engineering or similar)
- At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience as an engineer in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
- Experience with self-design of new production equipment as well as continuous improvement/troubleshooting of existing equipment.
- Knowledge and experience of current regulations, guidelines and laws in the area of responsibility (e.g. GxP, BetrSichV )
- Experience with OPEX, TPM, KVP and Six Sigma
- Good language skills in German and English
- Solid computer knowledge of common office application
