What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

 

  • Conduct operational, financial and compliance audits in all business areas at the HQ in Aachen and in our affiliates worldwide
  • Interview key stakeholders to fully understand core processes in a defined area and identify gaps and risks
  • Review sample documentation to evaluate process compliance
  • Work closely with the business on gaps and risks and develop recommendations that help our teams thrive
  • Share best practices to improve processes and process adherence
     

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

 

  • Commitment to work as an Internal Auditor for 6-12 months (flexible start date), afterwards returning to your current role or taking on a new role
    – to be aligned with your line manager and HR upfront
  • High level of motivation and hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Successful university degree in Business, Finance or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Grünenthal
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of additional languages (esp. Spanish, German) is an advantage 
  • First experience in data analysis and with various IT applications
