What the Job Looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Lead Post-Merger Integration (PMI) projects with full end-to-end responsibility, as such, be part of strategic search as informed / consulted party to comment on feasibility for integration from the very beginning
  • Develop best suitable integration approach / TOM (target operating models during new deal evaluations (Due Dilligence phase) adapted to envisaged deal type and respective seller needs
  • Manage cross-functional integration teams (independent of team members functional hierarchy) and engage with international pharma partners as key point of contact for all integration relevant topics
  • Prepare Project Steering Committee’s and manage internal and external stakeholders, across all functions with strong focus on Operations / Value Chain 
  • Facilitate strategic alliances post-M&A or licensing deals
  • Drive and grow alliances through regular steering meetings and action trackingActively contribute to strategic negotiations and identify future business opportunities
  • Ensure smooth operational transitions, in line with our KPIs while safeguarding business continuity and EBITDA targets
  • Join forces with Integration & Alliance direct team members to continuously challenge & improve capabilities and ways of working

 

 

What You'll Bring to the Table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • University degree in economics or life sciences
  • A proven track record in leading Post-Merger Integration and or Business development (PMI) initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid understanding of pharma operations, supply chain, and regulatory frameworks
  • Fluent English skills; German and Spanish are a plus
  • Excellent stakeholder management and intercultural communication skills, including ability to adapt to country/culture specific ways of working
  • Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Strong team-player with resilient and problem-solving attitude to lead and culminate longer-term projects
