What the job looks like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Shape Grünenthal’s IT strategy by driving key strategic initiatives transforming the IT operating model and architecture management
  • Prepare and present strategic IT topics to C-Level and manage senior leadership stakeholders to buy into IT initiatives
  • Define and align architecture specifications (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture) for the enterprise, aligned with business goals, IT strategy and enterprise architecture standards
  • Shape and execute enterprise architecture processes such as application portfolio management or technology risk management
  • Establish and maintain architecture standards, policies and procedures to keep in control of the enterprise architecture
  • Provide architecture direction, guidance and vision to architect group and technical staff

 

What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Professional degree in business informatics, computer science, engineering or economics
  • 5+ years’ experience as IT strategy consultant and/or enterprise architect with strategic focus
  • Broad IT knowledge, including technologies, frameworks, and IT management processes. (IT4IT, TOGAF, ITIL)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; highly independent and stress-resistant; excellent networking abilities.
  • Business fluent in English and German; strong organizational and project management skills, including agile methodologies.
