What the job looks like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Driving and executing a comprehensive multi-year strategy to continue the company’s drive towards minimizing it’s environmental footprint, focussing technical systems/standards.
  • Leading prioritized projects to drive progress on our sustainability ambitions and achieve goals across our global operations and businesses.
  • Provide direction and support to achieve carbon and water neutrality and to minimize waste generation., Set guidelines and benchmarks for a company's environmental impact..
  • Lead  annual GHG inventory and E pilar of ESG, corporate responsible reporting, Environment related internal & external communication
  • Develop and/or review quantification approaches that account for GHGs emissions reductions or removals in projects. 
  • Create synergy and support the Environmental Safety & Health  culture. Develop and monitor effective Environmental and Sustainability management strategies, provide recommendations and technical expertise on regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate EHS inspections and assessments to assure compliance with regulatory requirements. Define Key Performance Measures (KPIs)/targets, identify opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Engages with internal stakeholders and presenting regular sustainability reports and conduct sustainability assessments

 

What you bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Masters Degree in engineering, environmental management or business administration
  • 3 years experience in manufacturing, 5 years sustainability experience is required.
  • Practical experience of environmental and GHG inventory data analysis
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate through and work in a matrix organization in a multinational company.
  • Professional certification in environment desired.
  • Fluency in business English.
  • Willingness to travel.
