What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges such as:

• Be part of Grünenthal’s M&A team – drive, coordinate and support financial assessment and analysis of licensing and M&A projects
• Challenge business cases, drive overarching comparisons and foster consistent project assumptions and documentation
• Collaborate closely with internal (e.g., Corporate Strategy, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Controlling) and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, FDD consultants)
• Support the negotiation team in contract design from a financial/strategic perspective
• Manage and perform impairment tests of Grünenthal group
• Flexibly take on new tasks and challenges in a dynamic environment

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

• University degree in economics, business administration or finance
• A high degree of engagement and assertiveness
• Excellent understanding of complex economic relationships and ability to model those reliably
• Good communication skills at all levels, high sense of responsibility and persuasiveness 
• Ideally, relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFA, ACCA, CPA), relevant working experience (e.g. Valuation, M&A, Controlling) and experience in project management 
• Fluent in business English, German is a plus
