What the job will look like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Shaping Grünenthal's sustainability reporting journey and driving transparency on topics that matter for patients, society, and the business.
  • Leading the ongoing development of our ESG reporting framework in line with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Driving the Double Materiality Assessment process and helping translate sustainability priorities into meaningful business decisions.
  • Building strong partnerships across functions to enhance ESG data quality, accountability, and reporting excellence.
  • Orchestrating end-to-end reporting activities and collaborating with external auditors to ensure transparency, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, empowering colleagues across the organization through guidance, knowledge sharing, and ESG expertise.

 

What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of relevant Experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, compliance, governance, or a comparable field, combined with a genuine passion for driving positive impact.
  • A solid understanding of non-financial reporting requirements and a curiosity to stay ahead of evolving regulatory developments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex topics.
  • An analytical mindset paired with strategic thinking and a talent for turning data into meaningful insights and business value.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, enabling trusted partnerships across diverse stakeholders, teams, and functions.
