What the Job Looks Like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Play a key role in shaping and executing Grünenthal’s ambitious external growth strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Finance, and Operations.
  • Drive due diligence processes for M&A transactions, and support licensing and partnership opportunities as needed.
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitive analyses to identify potential acquisition targets, assets, or investment opportunities.
  • Translate complex findings into actionable insights that influence strategic decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Contribute to high-impact strategic projects for the Grünenthal Group, the CEO, and the Corporate Executive Board.

 


What You Should Bring to the Table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • A top-tier degree in Business Administration, Economics, Science, or a related field.
  • Sound Experience in Top Tier strategy consulting or corporate roles such as Corporate Development, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Investment Banking.
  • Proven expertise in Corporate M&A, Strategy, and Business Development—ideally with a focus on established brands.
  • Strong skills in valuation methodologies and understanding of accounting principles
  • A strong track record of driving business impact through strategic thinking.
  • Sharp analytical (incl Excel) and conceptual thinking skills to simplify complexity and guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities to influence at all levels.
