What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
•    Perform statistical analysis for quality improvements 
•    Contribute to continuous process improvement in accordance with digitalization
•    Develop process improvements associated with closing and reporting responsibilities
•    Perform balancing and control processes, including trend reporting and analysis
•    Prepare account reconciliations
•    Professional handling and alignment of special issues in the field of general ledger accounting
•    Ensure accurate reporting within ODC according to HBII
•    Review journal entries, reports and reconciliations to warrant compliance with external reporting and tax requirements and deliver quality service to the territories

 

What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
•    Professional degree in Accounting or Finance
•    3+ years of experience in an accounting environment 
•    Experience with data analytics (BI experience)
•    Accounting- (HGB) and General ledger knowledge is a plus
•    Good knowledge of SAP-FI and Microsoft Office
•    Strong analytical skills and communication skills
•    English language skills, additional European language skills beneficial
