What the job looks like

Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as: 

  • Serve as the customer-oriented business partner within the Finance community for all German legal entities, including RHINE, focusing on controlling topics.
  • Act as the German legal entity expert interface for all functions, preparing and coordinating liquidity planning and ad-hoc requests related to inter- and intra-company charges and HR topics.
  • Oversee financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring high-quality data, transparency, and effective management reporting for German legal entities.
  • Manage long-term planning for GmbH and coordinate globally relevant controlling topics, including simulations for Panama and the US.
  • Analyze monthly legal entity data, coordinate quarterly and year-end closing topics, and prepare management presentations for stakeholders such as the Supervisory Board.
  • Drive efficiency through continuous process improvements and automation and provide project controlling support as needed.

 

What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of business and finance principles, including first experiences in financial integration of M&A deals.
  • Multi-year experience in relevant Controlling (and ideally Accounting) functions.
  • Deep understanding of (intercompany) value flows.
  • Proficiency in SAP (incl. relevant CO master data) is a plus.
  • Fluent in Business English; German language skills are advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
