This position is offered as a fixed 2-year contract. 

 

What the job looks like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Provide scientific expertise related to API manufacturing processes, both for internal production and external suppliers
  • Contribute with organic chemistry expertise to the API and drug product risk assessments
  • Lead chemical process investigations and action plans aiming to mitigate the likelihood of nitrosamine formation in the API (internal manufacturing or external suppliers)
  • Support root cause investigations in drug product formulations, act as internal consultant for reformulation trials and product manufacturing changes


What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • PhD level required, with post doc studies desirable
  • Field of expertise: organic chemistry or synthesis/processing and manufacturing of APIs
  • Up to 3 years of experience in similar roles in the pharma industry or chemical industry
  • Business-fluent English, German and/or Spanish desirable
