What the Job looks Like: 
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of Challenges, such as: 
•    Responsible for short term and medium-term site capacity planning, including material requirement planning  
•    Plan and prepare production schedules for manufacturing through schedulers, develop and implement production planning policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures
•    Plan and prepare supply plan through Supply Network planners in order to balance supply and demand, and bring transparency of risks and opportunities to the S&OP/ IBP process
•    Participate in S&OP forums as applicable as well as develop and project to deliver continuous improvement in KPI’s
•    Manage production planning and set clear performance standards to hold people accountable for results, deliver customer service goals, optimize inventory investments, and meet production requirements, safety targets, and non-conformance / quality improvement goals, build cross-functional and cross-departmental support, fostering overall group effectiveness
•    Coach and guide teams / individuals to mine data from appropriate systems and able to carry out complex analysis for ad-hoc business requests
•    Develop, coach and guide team of planners and team leads in the execution, strategies and realization of departmental and company goals, advances succession planning by holding career conversations with staff 
•    Provide clear leadership for site team and accountable production planning representative on the plant leadership team

 

 

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
•    University degree in Business administration, Supply Chain or comparable
•    Strong experience in supply chain, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment
•    Track record of experience in corresponding roles and experience in leading a team in a highly matrixed organization
•    Fluent business english skills
•    Ability to influence and motivate others as well as advanced communication skills
•    Result driven and value adding: understanding and responding to customer needs, prioritizes, simplifies and acts efficiently
•    Desirable Lean six sigma / OPEXc knowledgement.

 

 


“As Head of Production Planning Quito Site, you will be a key driver in strategic and operational decision making of one of our most dynamic and growing manufacturing sites within our global supply chain. You will be part of a high performing leadership team within the Global Supply Chain Planning team and Site governance and lead a talented group of planners that are key cogs in our End to End planning process¨.
