What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • As safety writing expert within the SBR team for assigned documents such as Periodic Reports, Risk Management Plans, Expert Statements and Response documents to Health Authority requests including continuous further development of templates for Drug Safety documents
  • Perform and coordinate activities related to assigned projects in collaboration with the respective Global Safety Lead
  • Interact with competent authorities, external organisations, internal departments and Grünenthal subsidiaries worldwide in collaboration with the Global Safety Lead

In the PVO capacity

  • Quality Controll of ICSRs
  • Support in management, oversight, training and  development of vendor activites contracted for ICSR management
  • Ensures vendor and internal activities are enacted in time
  • Continuous development of processes related to ICSR collection, handling and reporting together with parties involved.


What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Experiences within Drug Safety preferred
  • A university degree in medicine or pharmacy or PhD in science
  • Good clinical and scientific judgment
  • Knowledge of current pharmacovigilance environment, regulations and processes preferred
  • Knowledge of methods of qualitative and quantitative safety data analysis and evaluation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Intercultural skills
  • Very good knowledge of English  and Spanish (both spoken and in writing)
