What the job looks like:

  • Manage capacity planning requirements for the plant including business supply needs, new production pipeline volume builds and other plant project work;
  • Partner with business and functional leaders across the organization to execute integration plans and deliver project milestones;
  • Liaise and collaborate between Business Development teams, Business Units and Functions during key phases across the deal evaluation and design stage;
  • Manage the efforts to welcome and successfully integrate all new acquisitions/partners into the various Supply Chain functions;
  • Work with the Integration / DD team and new acquisition partner to gain an understanding of their current systems and processes;
  • Provide accurate process mapping of potential new business to design proper process/system/people needs and capabilities to seamlessly receive the new business;
  • Asses current state processes of potential new business and define requirements/improvements based on fact-based decision and analyses;
  • Liaises with Supply Chain planners and managers to review and optimize supply chain footprint to increase agility and leverage capacity balancing throughout the global network;
  • Support standardization and continuous improvements in planning process and its tools;
  • Prioritize initiatives to align with supply chain strategy, setting performance metrics framework to measure success and communicating with business partners;
  • Develop the network design processes and driving the GOB and Supply Chain visions;
  • Influencing in the Supply Chain and other Grunenthal Teams to address the correct E2E network configuration and optimization. 

 

What you'll bring to the table:

  • University Bachelors Degree or equivalent. MBA or equivalent preferred.  Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF) desirable;
  • 5+ Years related experience on network configuration and/or E2E Supply Planning processes - Preferably in Pharma industry;
  • Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP, O9, Kinaxis) is preferred;
  • Fluent in English and preferably one further European language;
  • Ability to forge collaboration across all levels of the enterprise & externally;
  • A strong communicator to communicate clearly, making  the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms;
  • Ability to influence at all levels both within the Supply Chain, in a matrix environment and externally;
  • Demonstrates deep knowledge of best practices and benchmarks, corporate objectives, and resource availability to identify and prioritize continuous improvement projects;
  • Solid critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to identify and evaluate assumptions and draw conclusions, ability to independently identify, resolve and escalate issues, and provide concise executive level summaries that accurately reflect analyses.
