What the job looks like

Each day, you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges such as:

  • Direct the development of the cluster and countries brand plan for Qutenza and ensure alignment with the global strategy especially regarding all decisions for Qutenza investment priorities
  • Implement appropriate global brand tactics and develop high value, customer oriented and profitable local tactics
  • Leads cluster brand team and provides recommendations to the Global Brand Team for all choices to maximise profitable growth of Qutenza, and responsible for seeking approval for investments
  • Is part of the GBT (Global Brand Team) Qutenza & contributes actively to the Global Strategy
  • Accountable for Qutenza P&L
  • Accountable for Qutenza PRC and top line developments of Qutenza including regular review of brand performance & forecasting (strong IBP contributor)
  • Accountable for regular business review to provide brand view overall and make recommendations for cross-country resource allocation
  • Define the cluster targets together with GPC and communicates them to the cluster teams
  • Facilitates best practice sharing among cluster countries and advises on all brand-related aspects to requesting countries
  • Ensures decisions, issues and risks are adequately analysed and documented in brand team minutes or other documents
  • Ensure tight collaboration with field teams, commex, medical, regulatory, compliance, financial teams
  • Defines necessary activities for market research
  • Supervises development of Qutenza commercial training program and material for the countries
  • Ensure tight collaboration with Commex team on DOMO analyses
  • Delivers the performance and monitors it using central tools and metrics
  • Provides local insights on profiling, segmentation and targeting strategies and plans

  • Brand ambassador –like communicator with fluency in English at minimum to advocate for Qutenza at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to look for new ideas and sell them
  • Experience in leading teams in a matrix organization
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, including empathy
  • Decisive, focused on delivery & performance
  • Good communicator
  • University Degree (Bachelor / Master) in Marketing 
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Successful launch experience of pharmaceutical products, ideally on an international level
  • Previous Marketing responsibility on a country level. 
  • Experience of working with and leading a cross functional team
  • Experience in sales or field teamwork preferred
  • Ideally experience within specialist/ hospital medicine
  • Fluency in Business English, additional language beneficial
  • Strong ability to work in an international environment and with HQ
  • Strong ability to make decision based on data-based insights
