What the job looks like

Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges such as:

  • Maintaining the Service Catalogue, ensuring that all information within the Service Catalogue is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Create and maintain a service catalog for the transparent presentation of IT services.
  • Set-up customer management and contact person for Service Owners to continuously coordinate and improve the service portfolio.
  • Establish suitable reporting options for stakeholders.
  • Check and optimize the IT services in terms of availability, use, quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and optimize service documents (templates) and design SLAs for agreeing on IT services.
  • They understand the requirements of the customers and, together with the respective experts, find suitable solutions in order to align the service portfolio to meet their needs.
  • Monitor, track and consolidate the status and consumption of the individual IT services.
  • Prepare the consolidated billing of the service catalogue to the relevant cost centers
  • Maintain the catalogue of required skills, trainings and certifications required for the service delivery


What you'll bring to the table

To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • Master degree in (business) computer science, engineering or comparable
  • More than 5 years of experience within IT or Controlling
  • Several years of professional experience in service portfolio management and establishment of service catalogues
  • Professional experience in the conception, administration and operation of complex IT infrastructures is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the ITIL framework, Certification is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of the definition, description and development of IT services
  • Distinct conceptual skills, structured and independent way of working as well as good knowledge of project management
  • Experience in designing and supporting change processes
  • Confident in negotiations, strong strategic relationship competence
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
  • Understanding IT professional roles and certifications
