What the job looks like
Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:

  • Building machine learning models to create market-leading customer experience
  • Enabling clarity on business questions that don’t currently have answers
  • Defining the Data Science roadmap, enabling the data strategy and guiding business direction with continued model performance analysis
  • Implementing new analytical methods or ways to use data to improve business understanding and help drive growth
  • Delivering advanced analytics to support commercial decision making
  • Evolving a toolkit with new functionalities that supports Global Business Teams with insights required to thrive
  • Feeding the data stack with new data sources, ensuring that all data is clean, available and documented
  • Helping ensure the business data literacy levels are high


What you'll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:

  • MSc/PhD in computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, data science, machine learning or related technical/numerical discipline
  • Several years of experience in a senior data science role where end-to-end model design, development & testing comes with ease
  • Strong experience with ML platforms (frameworks, techniques and libraries and strong experience working with large data sets, and build robust models with a view to scale from the beginning
  • Experience in data management, governance & modelling lifecycles (including data quality, ingestion, loading, cleaning, and processing), seeking to improve model efficiency, performance, and scalability
  • Advanced capability in data story-telling and a strong grasp of data visualisation techniques (for dashboarding, reporting, etc)
  • A keen interest in the latest Data Science research and best practice, with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Fluently in English, another European language is beneficial, but not essential
