What the job looks like

In this position you will be responsible for defining & shaping processes related to internal material flow, production management within the Aachen manufacturing site. This means:  

  • Define, shape & optimize internal logistics & manufacturing processes within the Aachen Site e.g. Implementation of Supermarket flows within material movement, material booking & scanning on production lines
  • Lead/Support & manage transformation activities around introduction of digital tools within the site, including defining requirements, implementation and ownership of tools
  • Creating standard operating procedures and training documentation 
  • Driving & creating processes based thinking within the manufacturing environment
  • Managing global and local stakeholders to implement standard processes e.g. local production team, global IT product owners, Digital Transformation Office 


What you`ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor or Masters in production engineering, process engineering or relevant studies
  • Experience of 1-2 years working in a comparable production environment is a plus (Consumer product, Pharma, FMCG etc.)
  • Experience with tools such as SAP, FASTEC, Master Control is preferable
  • Experience in Leanmanagement & process modelling including tools used of process mapping
  • First Experience in project management
  • Strong Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems & managing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills in English & German
